Richard J. Bonvissuto

Born in Buffalo, New York in 1967 Richard earned an Associate’s Degree from Erie Community College, and then majored in filmmaking at State University of New York at Buffalo.

Richard moved to California where he worked in the film industry for three years while always keeping his love for photography in the background. After becoming burned out living on the West coast, Richard moved back to his hometown of Buffalo where he has concentrated on his photographic career. Richard’s inspiration comes from many artistic influences who include: Mark Sink, Michael Ackerman, Sylvia Plachy, Sally Mann, Annie Leibovitz and Francis Bacon.
