Being a lover of film and everything analog, when digital photography emerged I resisted jumping on board with the masses. I believed that in order to be a “real” photographer you needed to shoot film. I was (and still am) a purist at heart and stuck to my guns for a long time. Eventually, I gave in and wound up purchasing my first digital camera, a Sony DSC-V3 7.2 megapixel camera. I was hooked. My life changed after that as a photographer and I soon realized that there was a place for this new technology. It opened up a whole new photographic world for me and it did not take long for me to embrace it with open arms.
